If you're planning your first visit, we'd love to help you feel comfortable.
Our congregation is made up of everyday people who love God and enjoy getting to know others. Expect a warm welcome when you arrive, and you will likely be invited out for lunch.
We strive to worship according to the pattern we find in the New Testament. Our weekly worship includes prayer, Bible teaching, taking the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-34), giving, and congregational acapella singing (Ephesians 5:9).
Most members dress casually, and visitors are welcome to come as they are. Don't be alarmed if we start a few minutes late!
We offer Bible classes for children and adults, and a nursery for taking care of little ones.
Our typical attendance is around 60 people, making it easy to meet others and build meaningful relationships.
Visit our YouTube channel to watch sermons and Bible lessons, and join us online when you can't be with us in person.

At Sweetwater Church of Christ, we are a group of Christians committed to following God's Word and encouraging one another in our faith. We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and strive to make it the foundation for everything we teach, practice, and do as a congregation.
We seek to follow the pattern of the New Testament in our worship and service to God. We believe that salvation is found through Jesus Christ and that faith, repentance, confession, and baptism for the remission of sins are all part of God's plan for those who choose to follow Him.
We also seek to share the gospel beyond our local community through the ministries we support, including the Tri-Cities School of Preaching, mission work in India, the Tennessee Children's Home, local radio and television programs, and online teaching through YouTube.
While we care deeply about biblical truth, we also care deeply about people. We are a friendly church family that enjoys welcoming visitors, building meaningful relationships, and sharing the hope of Christ with our community and beyond.
We would be honored to have you join us next Sunday!
